CUPE 1760, United Way British Columbia reach tentative agreement

BURNABYโ€”CUPE 1760 and United Way British Columbia (UWBC) have agreed to terms for a new collective agreement.

Details of the tentative agreement will be circulated to members shortly.

โ€œOur bargaining committee is satisfied with the agreement and will be recommending its ratification to the membership,โ€ said CUPE 1760 President Lena Shillington. โ€œDetails will be circulated to the members, and there will be opportunities to ask questions and vote on the proposed contract.โ€

CUPE Local 1760 represents approximately 110 employees of UWBC working with communities in the Interior, Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Central and Northern Vancouver Island.
