Our locals are stronger when members can safely participate and bring a diversity of voices and experience to the table. Human Rights Staff create resources about issues that affect equity deserving members and assisting locals with human rights issues. Some examples of things that human rights representatives can help locals with are reviewing/developing employer policies, auditing collective agreements and making suggestions for better human rights language, conducting human rights related research, and more.
