Labour workshop at Vancouver Folk Music Festival features Tim Robbins

BURNABY-CUPE BC and CUPE National are proud sponsors of the Vancouver Island Music Festival and the Vancouver Folk Music Festival.

No Power Greater, a labour-sponsored workshop with significant support from CUPE, happens at the Vancouver festival on Saturday July 16 at 2:30 p.m.

On stage for No Power Greater Tim Robbins and the Rogues Gallery Band joins musicians Dick Gaughan, Cris Williamson and Leon Rosselson. Robbins is not only a headliner for the festival, but a solid supporter of workers’ rights and labour unions.  

The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is at Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver, July 15 –17. The Island Music Festival takes place at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds, July 8 – 10.
