Rally to save health care on Tuesday!

Rally to save health care on Tuesday!

BURNABY – Tomorrow, March 31st, is the first anniversary of the Conservative government’s $36 billion cut to health care transfers to the provinces. CUPE is working with allies like the Council of Canadians and the BC Health Coalition to mark that anniversary. In BC, our sisters and brothers in the HEU have taken the lead in organizing rallies across the province.

A list of these events can be found online here: http://www.heu.org/saveourhealthcarebc

CUPE BC Secretary-Treasurer Paul Faoro will be speaking at the rally in Burnaby, 3900 Ingleton Ave (at Sunset St) at 11:30 am, and General Vice President Trevor Davies will speak in Victoria, Begbie Hall, 1952 Bay Street at noon.

It’s time we take back our public health care agenda. If there is a rally in your community, please share this information with your fellow members and make every effort to attend.
