HST WRAP-UP RALLY TODAY

HST WRAP-UP RALLY TODAY

VANCOUVER – Join BC NDP leader Adrian Dix for a scrap the HST rally today Thursday, Aug. 4 – at 5:30pm in downtown Vancouver.  The rally will be held in the courtyard at the Woodwards Building at 149 West Hastings. Map: http://bit.ly/rr0Zbs

In less than a week, the HST referendum will be over.  It’s been a long, hard fought campaign led by Adrian Dix and the NDP to win a YES vote to extinguish the HST and prevent the Christy Clark Liberals from shifting billions of dollars in taxes onto the backs of middle income and working families.

Over two years ago, the Liberals said they wouldn’t bring in the HST.  They did it anyway.  British Columbians felt outraged and insulted at being lied to.

And now, as that referendum draws to a close, we have one opportunity to come together and send one final message to Christy Clark and the BC Liberals:  the HST will be voted down when all the votes are counted later in August.

See you at the rally!
