Survey results in, bargaining prep begins for community social services

BURNABY—The results of CUPE’s bargaining survey for members in community social services have been complied and summarized and are ready for the CUPE CSS bargaining committee to use in developing proposals for bargaining.

The CSS bargaining committee met on February 20 in order to prepare for the next round of provincial bargaining in the sector. The committee members are Sheryl Burns, Lorraine Cole and Lee-Ann Lalli of CUPE 1936, Dani Tearoe of CUPE 523, Sherry Errett of CUPE 3999, and Cheryl Colborne and Louise Oetting of CUPE staff.

“It is great to see representation on the committee from across the province,” said Colborne.
