Black History Month

Black History Month

BURNABY—February is Black History Month. To celebrate this cultural event, the Vancouver International Film Festival, along with Vancity Theatre and Granville Island, will be screening powerful and critically acclaimed films this month.

To celebrate Black History Month across Canada, the National Film Board has selected a group of its films that can only scratch the surface of such a rich and multi-layered culture.

For more information on events in the Lower Mainland, check out the City of Vancouver’s calendar of events.
