Earth Day is a time for all CUPE members to take action in their communities to help make the world greener and more sustainable.
CUPE members can push for green actions in their workplaces by doing simple things like changing how you get to work and around your community, drinking only tap water, assessing your workplace’s environmental performance and many other steps.
This year, CUPE National has produced a newsletter filled with current environmental facts that supports two main actions directed at young people. CUPE continues to run its Kids’ colouring contest but this year we have a new-look poster that anyone can print or order.
