BC NDP Leadership debate information for CUPE BC members

The BC NDP Leadership debate tour kicks off in Surrey at the SFU Campus on March 20. The debate tour will stop in a total of nine communities across British Columbia, ending April 6 in Terrace. CUPE members, especially those who also are NDP members and can vote in the April 17 leadership election, are encouraged to attend and participate.

Each of the nine debates has an issue theme, reflecting the broad range of issues faced by families all across B.C.

  • March 20th – Surrey

      Theme: Education

  • March 21st – Kelowna

      Theme: Justice

  • March 22nd – Kamloops

      Theme: Poverty

  • March 24th – Nelson

      Theme: Family

  • March 29th – Qualicum

      Theme: Healthcare

  • March 31st – Victoria

      Theme: Youth

  • April 2nd – Vancouver

      Theme: Environmental sustainability

  • April 4th -Prince George

      Theme: Energy

  • April 6th – Terrace

      Theme: Jobs
