CUPE BC’s 55th annual convention just one week away

BURNABY – Preparations are well underway for CUPE BC’s 55th annual convention, which begins Wednesday, April 18 and continues until Saturday, April 21 at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.

Speakers at this year’s convention include Colombian human rights activist Berenice Celeyta, whose work is assisted by support from CUPE BC and other unions through Co-Development Canada.

Premier John Horgan will deliver a keynote address on Friday afternoon.

Convention delegates are encouraged to download and install the Convention App, available now by searching “CUPE BC” on the app store for your device. The convention agenda and related documents can also be found at https://www.cupe.bc.ca/convention_2018
