Paul Faoro to host DOXA festival screening

Paul Faoro to host DOXA festival screening

VANCOUVER—CUPE BC secretary-treasurer Paul Faoro will be the sponsor host for this Wednesday night’s screening of “We Are Wisconsin” at the 2013 DOXA documentary film festival.

“We are Wisconsin” is one of the feature films for the Justice Forum at the DOXA festival, which began on May 3 and runs until Sunday, May 12. CUPE BC is once again proud to be the major sponsoring partner of the Justice Forum.

First introduced at the 2010 Festival, the fourth annual Justice Forum has grown and developed into one of DOXA’s most important programs. The intent of the Justice Forum is to offer DOXA audiences a means for direct engagement with global justice issues through passionate and expansive discussion about the films presented in the festival. The ten featured films in the 2013 Justice Forum are international both in origin and focus, and encompass a broad range of social justice issues, from gentrification to economic crises.

For a complete list of the Justice Forum films, with details on times and venues, visit the Justice Forum page of the DOXA website.
