CUPE BC’s 49th annual convention hits Victoria April 25-28

VICTORIA—More than 600 delegates from across the province will gather in Victoria this week at the Victoria Convention Centre for CUPE BC’s 49th annual convention starting Wednesday. 

The convention kicks off Wednesday evening with an address from CUPE BC President Barry O’Neill. Additional speakers to Convention include CUPE National President Paul Moist, BC NDP Leader Adrian Dix, IBEW Local 258 President Michelle Laurie and Secretary-General of the General Alliance of Concerned Teachers of the Philippines Francisca Castro.

WHEN:  WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25 (evening) – SATURDAY, APRIL 28 (4 pm adjournment)
