Unionized work saves millions

Unionized work saves millions

The report says that using unionized garbage collectors in the downtown core saved that city almost $5 million over the last four years. The findings were authenticated by accounting firm Ernst and Young who audited the garbage collection program and confirmed the City’s statements.
