Public Employee e-mail draw extended to Oct. 15

BURNABY—An October 1 draw for free tickets to “a sports, entertainment or cultural event,” advertised in the Fall issue of Public Employee, will now be held this Friday (October 15), CUPE BC said today.

“A lot of members who sent us e-mails said they received their copy of the magazine either too close to the draw date, or after it had passed,” CUPE BC secretary-treasurer Mark Hancock said. “So we’re extending it to October 15th.”

Members matched to the first five e-mails drawn will each receive a pair of tickets to an event, including the October 31st CFL football game between the BC Lions and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Stay tuned for announcements of draws for events in other parts of the province.
