Day three of convention saw CUPE delegates pass an emergency resolution on the funding crisis in public education and hear from CUPE National president Paul Moist and secretary-treasurer Claude Généreux. The CUPE BC executive board reported on a busy year fighting for public services, bargaining and participating in elections. Evening events included a cruise on a paddle-wheeler for CUPE’s young workers and an equality forum featuring the aboriginal ensemble M’Girl.
