CUPE BC Convention elects new Executive Board

VICTORIA—Delegates to CUPE BC’s 2019 Convention today elected a new Executive Board to guide the union between conventions over the next two years.

President Paul Faoro and Secretary-Treasurer Trevor Davies were both acclaimed for another term, as were incumbent general vice presidents Karen Ranalletta and Michelle Waite. Joining the executive board for their first terms are Sheryl Burns and Nicole Edmondson, also both acclaimed to the position. Delegates also elected David Robertson to the position of trustee (3-year term.)

In addition to the at-large elections, delegates elected regional vice presidents and alternates in regional caucuses. Delegates also elected four diversity vice presidents and alternates in caucus elections earlier in the week.
