Wear Pink Again on Wednesday, April 14

Wear Pink Again on Wednesday, April 14

BURNABY—On Wednesday, April 14 CUPE members will be donning pink shirts – for the second time this year – to participate in B.C.’s “Stop Bullying Day.” CUPE members also wore pink on February 26 to mark Canada-wide Stop Bullying Day. The date for B.C.’s participation was changed because of the Olympics.

Locals and members can order No Bullying T-shirts at a cost of $15 each from CUPE BC. Shirts will be available to ship on February 19 and can be ordered through Shirley Loftus at 604-291-9119.

Please e-mail photos to jszliske@cupe.ca and we’ll post them to our web site.

For more information on bullying please visit the Occupational Health & Safety Committee page and go to the Fact Sheets section.

Also check out the Workplace Bullying Institute. Drs. Gary and Ruth Namie created this site to raise awareness of and create a public dialogue about workplace bullying.

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety and The Canadian Safety Council are additional sources of information.
