PORT MOODY—CUPE members were among the large, multi-union group of community social services workers who took their job action to BC Liberal MLA Douglas Horne’s office yesterday.
The four-hour protest, which drew honks of support from passing motorists, called on the BC Liberal government to stop putting vulnerable families last and to start funding the sector properly.
