This committee deals with issues specific to community social service workers who are employed in general services and community living services, child care, and services for some of B.C.’s most vulnerable populations. The committee works with CUPE locals within the sector, and in solidarity with other unions, to promote the expansion of community social services in B.C. and better wages and working conditions for the workers who provide them—the heart and soul of our communities.
