CUPE BC prepares for Young Workers Conference

NARAMATA—Registration spots are still open for CUPE BC’s Young Workers Conference, which is being held from June 7-10 at Naramata Centre.

The conference is open to members up to and including 30 years of age. The conference opens on Sunday, June 7 with registration starting at 3 p.m., dinner at 5:30 and the opening plenary at 7:30 p.m.

The cost for delegates is $350 based on shared occupancy. (If single occupancy is required, limited spaces are available for $475 on a first come, first served basis.) Costs include all meals, refreshments and accommodation. In addition, CUPE BC will be offering a travel subsidy for one delegate from each local. Shuttle service is also available on request.

The workshops this year promise to be exciting, so please return your registration form to CUPE BC by next Wednesday (May 20).
