VANCOUVER—More than 600 delegates to the CUPE BC Convention will arrive in Vancouver tomorrow as the union kicks off its 48th annual convention Wednesday evening at the Hyatt Regency. The convention theme is “Community Action—It Works!”
In addition to President Barry O’Neill’s opening address Wednesday evening, delegates will hear from guest speakers like South African labour leader Gati Malete, noted author Linda McQuaig and interim Official Opposition Leader Dawn Black.
