CUPE BC library worker safety survey still open

BURNABY— In mid-May, the CUPE BC Library Committee launched a survey to look at changing safety conditions for CUPE members in library workplaces across B.C.

The survey is open to all CUPE members who work in library workplaces in B.C., including public libraries, school and campus libraries. As it will remain open until June 30 all CUPE workers in library workplaces, are encouraged to take a few minutes to fill in the survey.

Survey results will give CUPE important information about what the safety issues are for CUPE’s library workers and will assist in advocating for improvements.

It is available online until June 30, 2015. Members are encouraged to respond to the online survey, but a printed version can be downloaded for those who prefer a paper version.

For more information please contact CUPE’s B.C. Library Sector Coordinator.  Information about the CUPE BC Library Committee is available at cupebclibraries.ca.
