Trevor Davies

Recently elected to the position of General Vice President at the CUPE BC Think Tank in Kelowna, Trevor Davies currently works as the Occupational Health and Safety Advisor for the City of Colwood on Vancouver Island. He is the General Vice President for CUPE Local 374, representing over 1500 members in seven municipalities in the Greater Victoria area. Trevor chairs the CUPE BC Environment Committee, co-chairs the Municipal committee and sits on the CUPE BC’s Young Worker Task Force. In addition Trevor currently co-chairs the CUPE National Young Workers Committee and serves as the CUPE representative on the Canadian Labour Congress Young Worker Working Group. Trevor has been involved in the past with the BC Federation of Labour as a Facilitator for the High School OH&S project, as a volunteer, working on the $10 minimum wage campaign and speaking at public hearings on the New and Young Worker Regulation reviews with WorkSafeBC. Trevor has been a member of CUPE since 2004
