Paul Faoro

Paul Faoro was first was elected to the CUPE British Columbia Division Executive Board in 2007 as Regional Vice President. In 2009, convention delegates elected him to the position of General Vice President. Paul has been the President of CUPE Local 15 since 2001, representing more than 5600 front-line workers in a variety of diverse sectors including K-12, Municipal, Heathcare and Post Secondary. In addition to advocating on behalf of CUPE members, Paul continues to work with community groups and coalitions dealing with homelessness, privatization and sustainability.  He is very active in municipal politics and as well with the New Democratic Party where he is a member of the Executive Board for Vancouver Fairview. Paul is the chairperson of the Political Action Committee for CUPE BC.
