Community Action – It Works!
Mark your calendars now: CUPE BC’s 2011 convention is coming up fast! We’re getting set for Wednesday, April 13 – Saturday, April 16 at the Hyatt Regency Convention Centre in downtown Vancouver. The theme of this year’s convention is “Community Action – It Works,” an apt description, given CUPE BC’s extensive and ongoing work in communities throughout BC and the forthcoming launch of the Ten Percent Shift campaign aimed at harnessing the economic power of individuals to improve local economies.
