Date:

On March 21st people around the world will be calling for an end to racism and discrimination. Filipinos in Vancouver will be connecting that history to their own struggles and achievements through hip hop, poetry, music and more as the Filipino-Canadian Youth Alliance hosts their next installment of Pinoy Poetiks.
Through Pinoy Poetiks, Filipino youth use the positive and creative outlets of Hip Hop, Poetry, and Acoustic Music to share their experience with Systemic Racism resulting in barriers to education, racial profiling and other social injustices.
Pinoy Poetiks will be held at:
Centre A: Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art. (Located at 2 West Hastings Street in Vancouver)
Centre A is host to both Pinoy Poetiks and The World Tea Party.
The World Tea Party represents a spirit of generosity and exchange that both celebrates and transcends our cultural diversity.
