I was wrong, boy was I wrong!

During the election and before, Gordon Campbell and his Liberals said all the right things. I said that maybe this time it will be different. Maybe these folks would govern for all the people of B.C.
Well I was wrong.
Gordon Campbell and his Liberals have proved in the past couple of weeks that they are no different, and indeed may be worse than previous governments.
They were elected specifically on their pledge to change the way that government works in B.C. Well, they have done that, all right. They pledged not to rip up contracts, and now they have done that. They pledged that they would not cut the civil service.
They attacked the previous government about the inadequate resources in children and family protection, and have now moved to cut 25% from that budget. They pledged to put teachers under essential services legislation and let the process take it's course, but when the Labour Relations Board made it's first ruling (on essential services levels) the premier and minister of education started talking about the need to legislate a settlement.
So now we sit and wait. What does this government really have in store for education and when will they tell us?
